Our ladies are hosting a car wash on June 10th at the Husky Gas Station (1575 Harvey Ave) in Kelowna, from 10am to 3pm. Come on out and have some fun in the sun with great people, and get your car washed in the bargain!

Spring Masquerade Ball

After welcoming our Delta class candidates, the AΩE sisters hosted an all ages masquerade ball on campus. We welcomed over 150 guests with free treats, a fancy mocktail bar and two awesome local DJs!
Not only was the event a huge success in fundraising for future events, but it allowed our active sisters to bond with the new candidates by planning, decorating, and dancing the night away together!

Movember Rose’s Night

Alpha Omega Epsilon will be hosting a burger and drink night at Rose’s Pub to raise funds for the UBC Okanagan’s mEUStache team. The money raised is for the Movember Canada campaign and goes towards research and support for prostate cancer.

Date: Movember 1st, 2011
Time: 6:00PM – 10:00PM
Location: 1352 Water Street, Kelowna, BC
Price: $10 (comes with a burger and a drink)

Tickets are available on campus in EME 1253 from 9:30 – 11:30AM on Monday and Wednesday this week. If you want to pick up a ticket at a different time, send an email to president – at – ubcoaoe.com. Some tickets will also be available at the door.

If you are unable to attend, donations can be made to the UBC Okanagan mEUStache team, or you can join the team here.

Walk for Wishes

The Beta Beta chapter of Alpha Omega Epsilon will be participating in this weeks Walk for Wishes in Kelowna. If you are interested in joining us for this, feel free to sign up for our team online here.

We would also appreciate donations towards our team so we can help raise money for The Children’s Wish Foundation of Canada. This organization helps to create the magic of a wish for children with life threatening illnesses. All donations can be made online through a credit card, or in person by cash or cheque.

Fall Recruitment 2011

It’s almost time for a new semester to start. This means it’s almost time for new student orientation on campus, A.O.E. Recruitment, and a new building! Chapter Installation

On March 26th, 2011 the Beta Beta Chapter was officially installed at UBC Okanagan! Two sisters from the Eta Chapter at UBC Vancouver and the IEB Interchapter Relations officer came to Kelowna to oversee the installation.

Chapter Status

Congratulations Ladies, we have officially been approved for Chapter status by the Alpha Omega Epsilon International Executive Board. We will officially become the Alpha Omega Epsilon Beta Beta Chapter sometime in March/ April. We have achieved this milestone over the past year with the welcoming of the Beta Class and the bonding of sisterhood. Several highlights as a colony include holding our first ever Rush, Geeks & Greeks, and our annual End-of-Semester party. Here’s to future highlights as a chapter!!

Christmas Ornament Sale

After an incredibly successful sale last year, we have decided to sell Christmas Ornaments once again. This year, we have added a new option of getting a full set of ‘ERTW’ ornaments, which will cost $8 for the set. Both this set and the regular ‘E’ ornaments can be seen in the images below. The ‘E’ ornaments cost $2 for 1, or $5 for 3.
